The Jeffrey P. Ossen Family Foundation was established following Jeffrey’s passing in 2007 as per his estate plan. Jeffrey envisioned a family foundation in which his three daughters would be able to carry on his legacy and actively participate in charitable endeavors.

Jeffrey resided in Mansfield, Connecticut for 40 years and raised his family there. While transitioning from a practicing attorney to a real estate developer, Jeffrey opened his office in North Windham, Connecticut expanding his manufactured housing business across the region, including Vermont and New Hampshire.

Since JPOFF's inception until 2022, the Foundation primarily directed its funding efforts in Windham County. Beginning in 2023, the Foundation expanded its geographic area of giving to include all of Connecticut with a particular emphasis on Eastern and Central Connecticut. Additionally, some funding is directed to organizations where our Trustees live and work.

The foundation is dedicated to partnering with organizations that inspire, advocate, and enhance the well-being of all people in Connecticut. Through these efforts, Jeffrey's legacy continues to inspire and positively impact the lives of countless individuals and communities in Connecticut.
